Who we are
This website is operated by Swift Aero Ltd (“Swift Aero”, “we”, “us”).
- Registered company name: Swift Aero Ltd
- Company number: 16739586
- Place of registration: United Kingdom
For data protection purposes, Swift Aero Ltd is the controller of personal data collected through this website’s contact form.
What this notice covers
This notice explains how we handle personal data when you use swift.aero, and in particular when you send a message through our contact form.
It does not describe a live drone-delivery consumer service, user accounts, or a marketing mailing list — we do not currently offer those on this site.
What we collect
Contact form
If you submit the contact form, we collect:
- your name;
- your email address; and
- the message (question or free-text content) you write.
A hidden “honeypot” field may also be submitted as part of spam protection. It is not intended for you to complete and is not used to identify you for any other purpose.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not run a marketing mailing list on this site.
Technical data used briefly for abuse prevention
When you submit the form, our server may use your IP address in memory only to apply a short-term rate limit (to reduce spam and abuse). In our application code this IP address is not written to storage or logs. Rate-limit state is transient and discarded as part of normal server process behaviour.
What we do not collect via this site
- We set no cookies for analytics, advertising, or site functionality described in this notice.
- We run no analytics scripts on this site.
- We do not collect payment details through this website.
How we use your data and our lawful basis
| Purpose | Data | Lawful basis (UK GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| To receive and respond to your enquiry | Name, email, message | Legitimate interests — to handle and reply to messages you send us (Art. 6(1)(f)). You choose to contact us; responding is necessary for that purpose. |
| To reduce spam and abuse of the form | IP address (transient, in memory) | Legitimate interests — to protect our systems and keep the form usable (Art. 6(1)(f)). |
We do not use contact-form data to send marketing emails or to build a mailing list.
Who processes data for us
We use carefully chosen service providers (“processors” or sub-processors) to run the site and deliver messages:
EmailJS
Form submissions are sent by our server to EmailJS, a third-party email delivery service, which delivers the message to Swift Aero’s mailbox. EmailJS therefore processes your name, email address, and message content for that delivery purpose.
- International transfers: EmailJS may process data outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we will ensure an appropriate transfer mechanism is in place as required by UK data protection law.
Vercel
This website is hosted on Vercel. Like most hosting platforms, Vercel’s infrastructure may process technical request data (for example standard server access logs) as part of providing the hosting service. That behaviour is part of Vercel’s platform, not something our site application uses for analytics.
- International transfers / logs: Hosting and related infrastructure may involve processing outside the UK. We rely on our host’s arrangements and UK GDPR transfer rules as applicable.
We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep data
- Contact form messages (including copies in our email mailbox): kept for up to 12 months after our last correspondence with you about the enquiry, unless we need to keep them longer to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
- Rate-limiting IP data: held only transiently in server memory; not retained by our application as a stored record.
- Hosting logs: subject to Vercel’s standard platform retention periods.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set cookies and does not run analytics as of the date of this notice. If that changes, we will update this notice and, where required, provide appropriate controls or information.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you may have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- rectify inaccurate data;
- erase data in certain circumstances;
- restrict processing in certain circumstances;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests; and
- data portability where applicable.
These rights are not absolute — they depend on the situation and the law.
To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your request.
How to contact us

Complaints

You also have the right to complain to the UK regulator:

Live complaint / contact routes are published on the ICO website.
